November 2026 · Laredo, Texas
For runners, race morning is the part everyone sees after weeks of preparation. For the people cheering them on, it is a chance to share a little of that effort. The fourth edition of the Laredo Marathon brings both sides together on Sunday, November 15.
This year’s program includes a full marathon, a half marathon and a five-person relay. Whether you are preparing for your own distance or supporting someone else, knowing which event they have entered is the first step in planning the morning.
Three ways to take part
The full marathon covers 26.2 miles and is scheduled to start at 6:30 AM. The five-person relay starts at 7:00 AM, with teammates sharing the marathon distance. The 13.1-mile half marathon is scheduled for 9:00 AM.
Those are different races and start times, so avoid making one arrival plan for everyone. Relay teams should work through their exchange and transportation arrangements together. Half-marathon participants should confirm their own start-area instructions rather than following the full-marathon plan.
From the stadium to the finish
The full marathon begins at Uni-Trade Stadium and finishes at The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo parking lot. Its different start and finish locations make transportation an important part of the day, especially if someone is dropping a runner off or meeting them afterward.
Agree on a meeting point with your group before race morning. Supporters should follow the announced route and access instructions when choosing where to watch, leaving the race course and event access clear.
The details to settle beforehand
The organizer lists packet pickup for November 14, with the location still to be announced when checked. Confirm the final pickup location, your registration category and the latest transportation instructions before making the trip.
Registration fees vary by category and registration date. Use the amount shown during your own registration process rather than relying on an older flyer or another year’s race information.
You do not have to cross the finish line yourself to be part of someone’s race day. A plan for getting there, cheering and meeting afterward can make the morning easier for the whole group.
